How to participate

Information on the procedure:

  • Get in touch with us using the contact form below
  • You will then receive all the necessary information on bundling packaging licensing
  • Once a year, you give us your binding quantities so that we can then carry out the combined negotiation.

All further steps, including negotiations with the dual systems, are handled by Handelsmarken GmbH, a subsidiary of Markant AG, in a professional process that is transparent for all participants.

Legal certainty is guaranteed in all matters. The legally compliant drafting of contracts is managed centrally and professionally for the benefit of the participants. This also ensures a professional review of the licence agreements, taking into account all relevant legal provisions, rulings and Central Agency Packaging Register (ZSVR) requirements.

Development of licence volumes of all bundling partners in tonnes

Since Markant launched its "packaging licensing bundling" service in 2008, the number of participating companies has increased by about 15 percent annually and stands at almost 350 companies for 2023 – and this is likely to continue to rise.

There are already more than 500 interested parties for 2023. This means that the quantities of bundled packaging are also developing strongly. While around 99,000 tonnes were recorded in 2021, this figure will rise to more than 130,000 tonnes in 2023.
